Leonard Bradley

Leonard Bradley was born in Connecticut in 1792, immigrated to Brownhelm in 1817, and located lands on what is the corner of Gore-Orphanage road and North Ridge Rd. He was identified as a pioneer farmer and also served his township as trustee.  He remained on his homestead until his death on May 3, 1875. His son Alva became a sailor, ship owner, and shipbuilder, who helped develop Great Lakes shipping.
